 Most fresh users will meet the questions for how to improve the printing quality during the digital direct to garment printing by their DTG digital printer, dark black T-shirt printer, Direct-to-Substrate Printer even the sublimation printer or the industrial direct to garment printer.This article will tell you the basis solutions for improve the printing quality.

1. Low printing resolution.

The image is not clear, choose the wrong printing resolution model, the printing resolution can not match the garment.

Solution: Because the garment surface can not as smooth as the flatbed or the paper. Most direct to garment printing DTG digital printing are choose 360-720dpi to print, the smooth silk or polyester garment use 1440dpi. Just choose the high resolution, not only can not improve the printing quality but also reduce the printing speed, so the correct printing model must according to the image quality and garment media types.

2. The gap between print head and garments

 The distance between the print head and garment will also effect the printing quality. It will be easy to clog the print head and make the color too dark if the the gap too small, On the contrary, if the gap to big, the ink jeted line can not be straight, so the printed quality will not clear.

Solution: Adjust the print head distance between the print head and garments, normally between 3cm-5cm

3, Can not get good hand feeling after printing.

Solution: Choose the correct direct to garment pre treatment and direct to garment ink, the pre treatment must match with the ink,

4, The printed ink spread out.

Solution, do the correct pretreatment with correct pre treatment, first spray the pre treatment by the air compressor go with spray gun, then do the heat press by 45 degree with 1 minis, must use a wax paper on the top of the garment for heat press, or the pre treatment will be spread out without equal, then do the printing.

5, Can not get good wash ness.

Solution: Choose the correct direct to garment ink, then do the correct curing after printing, normally do the heat press by 120-150degree with 2-3mins. After printing.
