How to reset focus direct to garment printer flatbed printer ink cartridge?

HOW TO SOLVE OUT THE PROBLEM BY "SET INK CRTG" ," NO INK CRTG" and "LOW VOLUM"?

When Dragonfly-jet, Ark-jet and Royal-jet LCD screen show "SET INK CRTG" or "NO INK CRTG" error, it means the printer have not recognize the ink cartridge or inks almost running out. So you need to do the reset on the chips of the cartridges to make the printer recognize the chips again as following methods.

You have two different way to reset the ink cartridges

The first way is reset the chips at the cartridge, by this way, you no need to open the machine cover, easy to reset, but will not stable as the second way, because the cartridge chips will be easy to loosen and can not connect will with the chips contacts by always reinstall the cartridges or refill inks. the correct working follow of this method is :

1. Remove the cartridge from the printer after power off machine, you can remove the chips out for reset and you can also let it stay there waiting for decoding later.

2. Please prepare the chips decoder and reset chips supplied from Focus digital first. The chip decoder have 5 pins, while the chips at the carriage also have 5 connector contact as following:

3. Let the chip decoder connect well with the cartridge chips

4. The red light will be flashing when the decoder recognized the chips and start decoding

5. Please release the decoder with the chips when the green light of the decoder is on.

6. Then the chips has been reset, you can install on the cartridge and then install on the printer to try again.

7.Finish.

Another way for do the reset is install a cracked Integrated chips board to the data cable, which is connect to each cartridge, by this way can prevent the problem that caused by the chips can not connect well with the chip pins. The correct work follow is:

1. Open the both side plastic cover on the machine. Then plug out the cable

2. Prepare the Integrated reset chips, transaction cable go with contact, decoder as following:

3. Connect the Integrated Reset chips, transaction data cable, contact together as following, (pay attention to the side of pin of the cable and chips)

Please connect by this side

4. Do the reset by connect with the contact go with decoder as following:

5. Release it when the green light on the decoder is on.

6. Plug out the cable connect with the Integrated Reset chips, and reset with another one if needed. Then plug out all and gather all Integrated Reset chips together after reset succeed as following:

7. Open the both side plastic cover on the machine. Plug out the 8 data cable which is connect to the 8 ink cartridges ( 4 at each side), then connect the 8 data cable on the machine with the reset succeed Integrated Reset chips as following together ( Pay attention to connect with correct side have pin):

8. Power on machine to try.

9.Finish.

Tips: If the decoder don't have any reaction that crashed, please open the package to check if the battery running out, reinstall the 3 button battery or change a new one.

If the problem fixed, congratulations, If still have problem please do the reset again or contact with Focus sales team. PS: Sometimes the machine will show"NON GENUINE" error message at the screen after you change the ink cartridges or do the reset on the cartridge chips as following , that means the chips is recognized by the cartridge, but you still need to refresh the program of the printer again.
